The upgrade begins

I have been trying to maintain a blog a few times in my life. I think I started my first blog when I was 18, and then 28, and now you can guess how old I am. Every time when I started a blog there had been major firmware upgrade in my brain. And for some odd reasons it seems to happen every decade.

When I say major firmware upgrade, it refers to the process of digging and inspecting every single running program in my brain that is accessible at the moment, update and then wipe everything else clean. Every time I would feel like I am living a new life, which may or may not be a better life, but it's new regardless, and I'd be happy until I am sick of it again.

I believe it is normal when one is doing intensive self-inspections, the by-products are tonnes of random ideas, philosophies, revelations that one can't wait to share with the world. This is where I had been, and again this is where I am now. The downside is that after a decade you would, obviously, realise the blog posts that seemed so intelligent at that time were in fact your historical record of stupidity. But nonetheless, the ideas need to go somewhere: if there is an idea that no one knows about, does it still exist?

So this is the beginning of me unloading the contents of my brain to this digital universe of 0s and 1s, possibly physically in a freezing cold server room, next to the 0s and 1s of grandma's cherry pie recipe.
